Apple Laptop Docking

stupid apple computer?

okay. my apple laptop ‘08 won’t turn off… the menu bar (not the dock) is gone and the menu bar only shows up when i click on a program or something… macintosh is also gone. I’ve taken the battery out like 25 times and it doesn’t work.. it just goes back to my normal screen. please help me!

Just try holding down the power button in the top right hand corner for a long time until it shuts off.
If that doesn’t work take it to an apple store or something.
